Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Obedience and Blessings

All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of GOD, your God. – Deuteronomy 28:2 MSG
I hear Your voice, Lord, and I thank You for the blessings that You have showered upon me. Sometimes I feel so unworthy. You love me so much that at times I cannot understand it. All that You have blessed me with goes beyond me, as I respond to Your voice, do Your will, and work to serve others. Speak to me, Lord. Tell me whom, what, and where You want me to bless. I am Your servant, Lord; speak to me. Amen.

Renew My Strength

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. . . .Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:29, 31 NKJV
I didn’t get half the things I needed to do accomplished yesterday, Lord. And today I feel as if I have no energy. I am flagging, Lord, and I don’t know what to do. So I arise early and come here to spend time with You. Calm my nerves. Remind me that the world is not going to fall apart if I don’t accomplish everything on my to-do list today or even tomorrow, yet show me how to use my time wisely. Give my heart peace, and as I spend these moments with You, give me strength so that I may walk in Your power. Amen.
