PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Hope for the Future

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. – proverbs 24:14 KJV

You, O Lord, give me hope for the future. Your presence fills me. I seek Your wisdom to renew my spirit and help me face the challenges of this life. I have great expectations. I believe that You are working in my life and good things await me today. May I further the plans for Your kingdom as You lead me through this life and time. Amen.

Faith in the Invisible

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. – Hebrews 11:3 NASB

I cannot see my future, Lord. I must trust in Your wisdom to guide me through these uncharted waters. Although I cannot see what the future holds, You see it, Lord. Open my ears to Your voice and my eyes to Your creative vision for my life. Help me to see where You want me to go. Then give me the courage to steer my life in that direction. Amen.
