PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Watching and Waiting

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. – Micah 7:7 NIV

I watch and wait expectantly, Lord, for You to answer the petitions I make to You today. I bring them to You mindful of the way You are always there, ready to listen, ready to advise, ready to answer. Give me the gift of patience as I wait for Your response. Help me not to run ahead of You but to wait and pray and hope. Amen.

Walking with God

“David. . .served the purpose of God in his own generation.” – Acts 13:36 NASB

Dearest God, You have a purpose for my life. You have plans to prosper me. I put my life, my heart, my spirit, and my soul in Your safe hands, this minute, this hour, this day. Within Your firm grasp, I need not worry about what tomorrow may bring. I just need to keep close to You and to keep walking in Your way, looking neither to the right nor the left but straight ahead toward You. Amen.
