PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Calling All Angels

God will command his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will carry you in their arms, and you won’t hurt your feet on the stones. – Psalm 91:11-12 CLV

Oh, what a tremendous God You are! You have commanded Your angels to surround me. Right now they are protecting me, guarding me from danger. You will not let anything that is not of Your will touch me. You won’t even let me trip over a stone. With Your heavenly host surrounding me, there is no need to fear. You are an awesome God. Thank You for always being there—here—in my heart and never forsaking me. Amen.

Prayer for Healing

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. James 5:14-15 NASB

Lord, I am feeling so poorly. You know what is attacking my body. You can see everything. I ask you in prayer, right now, to fill me with Your healing power. Banish the sickness from my body. Fill me with Your presence. Draw me unto You and let me feel your healing touch. Amen.
