PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Jesus in Our Midst

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. – Matthew 18:20 KJV

Lord, it’s so amazing that when we come together with other believers—even when just two believers are together—You show up! You are in the midst of us! You love us that much. Be with Your body of believers today, Lord, whenever and wherever they are meeting around the world. Show them Your power and Your presence. Answer their prayers today, Lord. All to Your glory! Amen.

Path of Peace

Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.” – Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV

Lord, I come before You, standing here, seeking Your face. I need direction. I feel so lost, so alone. But You are here with me, to lead and to guide me, to show me the way I should go. With You and You alone, I can find rest for my soul. Give me the peace of Jesus. Peace like a river Lord, give me peace. Amen.
