Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

God’s Goodness

“God has been very generous to me. I have more than enough.” – Genesis 33:11 NLT
Lord, I come to You this morning, thanking You for giving me all that I need each and every day. I have endured some lean times in the past, but right now, things are looking up, and it’s all because I looked up—to You! Help me to keep my focus upon You and not on what I lack. Amen.

A Future Hope

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. – Proverbs 23:18 NIV
Nothing will cause me dismay, nothing will discourage me with You by my side, O Lord of my life. Help me to seek Your advice, Your Word, before I speak, before I move, before I act. Guide me through this maze of life, Lord, with the assurance that you always walk before me. Embed this truth deep within my soul. Amen.
