Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

In God’s Time

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. – Psalm 145:14-16 KJV
Lord, sometimes I don’t understand why it takes so long for You to answer some of my prayers. At times Your answers are immediate, but on other occasions, I need to keep coming before You, asking over and over again for You to meet my need. Help me to grow during this time, Lord. Give me the confidence to ask and keep on asking. Amen.

Hope for the Future

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. – proverbs 24:14 KJV
You, O Lord, give me hope for the future. Your presence fills me. I seek Your wisdom to renew my spirit and help me face the challenges of this life. I have great expectations. I believe that You are working in my life and good things await me today. May I further the plans for Your kingdom as You lead me through this life and time. Amen.
