Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Spreading the Power of Forgiveness

[Jesus said,] “When you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” – Luke 122:32 NKJV
Lord, when Peter denied You three times, he wept bitterly. I know just how he felt. But You knew that’s what he was going to do, and You gave him words to keep him from wallowing in self-pity. You told Peter to strengthen his brethren after he turned back to You. So, I come before You this morning, asking You to forgive me and help me to forgive myself. Then, Lord, give me the opportunity to strengthen others who are dealing with unforgiveness. Help me encourage them to reconcile with those who they have hurt or who have hurt them. All for Your glory, Lord. Amen.

God Gives the Power

“Be careful not to say in your heart, ‘My power and strong hand have made me rich.’ But remember the Lord your God. For it is He Who is giving you power to become rich.,” – Deuteronomy 8:17-18 NLV
You are the One who has brought me to where I am today. Thank You, God, for giving me power and strength. All the blessings I have in this life come from Your hand. Continue to lead me in Your way. Although I may not be rich in a worldly sense, I am rich in my love of You. Further my knowledge and increase my talents so that I can do the work You desire. Amen.
