PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

The Healing Edge

People. . .begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed. – Matthew 14:35-36 NIV

Lord, when I connect with You, when my body is filled with Your power and love, nothing can harm me. I am healed from within. Fill me now with Your presence. Heal my body, soul, and spirit. I praise Your name, for You are the one who heals me, saves me, loves me! Thank You for giving me life! Amen.

Serving from the Heart

As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. – Ephesians 6:6 NLT

I want to work for You, Lord, using all my heart, soul, and talent. I want to be Your tool, serving You with passion. And as I do so, help me to keep my eye and focus on You and not on the gift You have given me. Help me to understand what You have shaped me to do. Amen.
