PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Living Sacrifice

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. – Romans 12:1 NIV

Here I am, Lord, lifting myself up to You this morning. I want to serve You. I live to please You, for I love You with all my strength, soul, mind, heart, and body. I dedicate myself, my time, and my service to You. Show me the path You want me to take. Amen.

Compassionate Heart

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. – 1 Corinthians 1:3 NKJV

Lord, You love us so much. Fill me with that love to overflowing. Give me a compassionate heart. Lead me to the concern You would like me to champion for You, whether it be working in a soup kitchen, helping the homeless, or adopting a missionary couple. Lead me in prayer as I go down on my knees and intercede for others in distress. Amen.
