PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Prayer for Healing

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. James 5:14-15 NASB

Lord, I am feeling so poorly. You know what is attacking my body. You can see everything. I ask you in prayer, right now, to fill me with Your healing power. Banish the sickness from my body. Fill me with Your presence. Draw me unto You and let me feel your healing touch. Amen.

Blessings

All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of GOD, your God. – Deuteronomy 28:2 The Message

I hear Your voice, Lord, and I thank You for the blessings that You have showered upon me. Sometimes I feel so unworthy, but You love me so much that at times I cannot understand it. All that You have blessed me with goes beyond me, as I respond to Your voice, do Your will, and work to serve others. Speak to me, Lord. Tell me whom, what, and where You want me to bless. I am Your servant, Lord; speak to me. Amen.
