PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

God’s Guidance

Listen, my son, and accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not  be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. – Proverbs 4:10-13 NIV

Lord, I want to do what You have created me to do. I come to You today, seeking Your direction for my life. I have my own ideas of how You want me to serve You, to enlarge Your kingdom here on earth, to provide for myself, my family, and my church. But I need Your wisdom. Which route should I take? When shall I begin? How shall I go? Lead me, Lord, into the waters You have charted for my life. Amen.

Feeding on Faithfulness

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. – Psalm 37:3 NKJV

As I dwell on this earth and take in my early morning manna, I feel Your presence beside me. I remember the times You’ve taken care of me, suffered with me, and led me through the darkness, and I feed on these memories. I feed on Your faithfulness. Thank You for always being there for me. Remain with me now and for the rest of this day, giving me courage and strength as I trust in You. Amen.
