If you are facing difficulties, please know that there are others who want to help you. Christ Church provides assistance through a combination of our own ministries and referrals to other groups or services available in the community.

Christ Church Support Services:

Christ Church United Methodist has a fully accredited, licensed psychological counseling center that takes most insurance programs, called the Krist Samaritan Counseling Center.
Each week trained Marriage & Family therapists are on the Christ Church campus, providing a full range of psychotherapy for human emotional health and well-being. Any person in need of counseling and psychological healing may call the Krist Samaritan Center at 281-480-7554 to make an appointment. The Samaritan Counseling Center operates on a sliding fee scale.

Grief Support:

Are you recovering from the death of someone you love—-trying to redefine your focus? There is a care group starting on October 3, where you can share conversation, loving care, or just sit quietly in the presence of God and others. The group will meet in the parlor at Christ Church every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:00-1:30 pm. Please contact Nancy Bartell at 281-799-5476 or if you are interested.”
